Difference between Cracking and Hacking

 Mostly we are of the opinion that hackers are a threat to our computers and can take out whatever secret information they want to. But really that is not the case and here we bring you the exact difference between what a hacker and a cracker is. Hope this post from us would bring end to all the myths regarding hackers. The Hackers and the Crackers are precisely the people who have extensive knowledge about computers and networks ranging from how they are built, how they work, the programming, the codes and everything else that relates to the security. Generally people are sometimes thinking that Hackers and Crackers has has no difference, however this is not true. Both works for opposite interests. While one may work for good and the other obviously with completely negative shade i.e malicious and criminal mindset. Here is where the line is drawn actually between the hackers & crackers.

         In-other words we can define a hacker as someone who identifies the flaws in the security systems and work to improve them. While this guy cracker maybe someone who unethically exploits the highly sensitive information and uses the flaws in the security systems to his advantage. Crackers usually breach the internet security and without paying royalties gain the access to various software. The hackers are the guys on other side are the internet security experts who maybe hired for locating and identifying the loopholes in the internet security systems and fix these flaws. The hackers use their knowledge to help security systems and the crackers use their knowledge to break the laws and mostly on negative ways. The two are sometimes called as White Hats & Black Hats. The Good guys are known as White Hats, which means Hackers are known as White Hats and on the other hand the bad guys are known as Black Hats, which means Crackers are known as Black Hats, who generally violate computer security for personal gains.

  Now you guys know who is working for how and main difference between them. Just let me know between these two characters what would be your choose Hacker or Cracker and why, mention it on the comments section. If you guys asks me, i will choose White Hats because of the responsibility with that character. I Love that responsibility at that time i would proudly say that I'm a White Hat guy.
